The Dew Chilli Parlor located on Wabash Avenue has turned out it's lights and locked the door.

But there is more to the story than meets the eye.

Many people have been calling and several reporters have as well wanting to know what happened.

The Dew has been at this Wabash Avenue location for 5 years and our lease was up. The Decision was to extend the lease or move on. Since there are two other locations in the Springfield Market.

This location is the historic building which once housed the Red Coach Inn.

The decision was made to look outside of the Springfield Market. Chatham, Illinois made contact with the owners several months ago and the Dew has been exploring the Chatham, Illinois Market. We still are.

Also, the Dew has been looking into the Decatur, Illinois Market. In fact, The Dew has entered into negotiations on a location in Decatur.

Other Markets which have expressed interest in having a Dew location happen to be out of state. Missouri and Indiana. But at this time the company is focusing on Illinois Markets.

All the employees who worked at the Wabash location have been reassigned to either a Dew location or to Godfather's Pizza which the owners also have in Central Illinois.
