CREAMY GARLIC CHICKEN RECIPE.


Creamy Garlic Chicken. A dish that will have people talking.

Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 1 large chicken breast (about 16 ounces) or 2 smaller breasts

  • 2 tablespoons clarified butter

  • 2 tablespoons chopped shallots

  • 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 cups spinach leaves, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic

  • ½ cup chicken stock

  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken:

  1. Slice the Chicken Breast: Begin by slicing the chicken breast in half to create two even pieces. There are 2 sides to a chicken breast. There is a skin side on the outside and the inside. Put the skin side down. Then take a sharp knife and slice in half to make two thinner chicken breasts.

  2. Dredge the Chicken: In a lasagna pan, mix together some flour, salt, pepper, and cheese. Dredge the chicken pieces on both sides, ensuring they are well-coated with the mixture.

  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat clarified butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook until they are golden brown on both sides. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.

Prepare the Sauce:

4. Sauté the Shallots: In the same frying pan, add the chopped shallots. Cook until they become light golden brown, releasing their aromatic flavor.

  1. Cook the Mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and sauté until they release their water and become tender.

  2. Add Spinach and Garlic: Stir in the chopped spinach and cook for a couple of minutes until wilted. Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Make the Sauce: Pour in the chicken stock and let it simmer for a couple of minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Then, stir in the heavy whipping cream and cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve:

8. Finish the Dish: Return the reserved chicken to the pan, coating it with the creamy spinach and mushroom sauce. Allow the chicken to warm through for a couple of minutes.

  1. Plate and Enjoy: Serve the chicken hot, topped with the creamy spinach and mushroom mixture. Pair with your favorite side dish, and enjoy a rich, flavorful meal!
